American Roulette
The purpose of American Roulette is to win as much money as possible by betting on one number, or a combination of numbers. The croupier spins the wheel in one direction, and spins a ball in the opposite direction. The ball eventually stops in the center of the wheel, in one of the little squares. The number of that square is the winning number. The American Roulette wheel has two variations: single zero and double zero.
At single zero, the wheel is divided in 37 squares: 0 and 1 through 36. At double zero, the wheel is divided in 38 squares: 0, 00 and 1 through 36. The squares that have 0 in them are green, the other squares are red or black. If the ball ends up on zero, and you've placed a bet on the single odds, you don't lose your whole bet, instead it's cut in half.
American Roulette is different from European Roulette because the chance to win is slightly smaller, as there is a double zero as well. The European and French Roulette wheels only have one zero. If the ball stops at zero, there are two possibilities: if you've bet on one of the single odds, you either lose half your bet, or let your whole bet play in the next round (en prison).
Betting options
There are various kinds of betting options. You can bet on a number, or a combination of numbers, on even or odd, on red or on black. What you win depends on your bet. If the ball stops at zero, your bets on single odds are cut in half.

Payouts
What you win depends on what you bet. In the table below you will see how many times your bet is multiplied if you win. If it says 1x, this means that your profit equals one time your bet. Apart from that, you also get your bet back.
